The Blog I Want To Write TomorrowOctober 23, 2007
The post I want to write tomorrow.
Enough already! I am getting sick of writing about losing. For those who think winning is overrated they should try losing five games in a row…it sucks! To remedy this situation I thought I would write the blog that I want to be writing tomorrow today…you know some of the Tony Robbins positive thinking stuff. So here we go!
Now that was Predators hockey! While the didnât play better against the Kings than they had against the Ducks and Sharks the result was much better from a Preds fan perspective. Hopefully this 4-1 win will put the guys back on the right track!
I thought our D made the difference last night. They played with intensity and never seemed to allow LA to get set up in our zone. They were all over them all night long! Pred fans knew going in that our D was young and good and last night we showed just how good they can be. I love the way our D will go deep on the attack in the offensive zone. While this may get us burned on occasion our guys seem to be working this well with forwards covering the points when someone goes in.
I loved seeing Radulov get it going last night. I think going against the likes of Anze Kopitar gets him up for the game. Anytime two young stars go head to head in a game you know they want to outshine the other and Alexander The Great did just that. His two goals set the tone for the gameâ¦this was going to be a wide open fast paced game. His first one was a thing a beauty and made ESPN’s top plays. Goals from Zidlicky and Bonk rounded out the Preds scoring.
On the opposite side Kopitar did his thing and gave the Kings their lone goal on a play that would turn any goalie inside out. He is special for sure!
The Preds should be thrilled with their play tonight. They come home a little happier and ready for a couple home games at the Sommet Center.
Crotch Bang to those who think the Preds are the only ones with attendance problems. Did anyone see all the empty seats last night in LA?
Now…lets go Preds…go beat those Kings!
